Our kitchen, bath, and utility room remodel experience with Bartelt was wonderful. We spent months developing our project, and Rick and Matt were patient throughout the process as we considered options. We must have considered at least six different design options, and they were very accommodating, pricing each for us, so we could make an informed decision.  We also enjoyed working with Mary to select all of the highlights for the project – bath fixtures, lighting options, knobs and pulls, etc. The construction team was also a joy to work with. They were efficient, and the quality of the work was superb. Everyone went the extra mile.  Thanks to all!

Working with Bartelt was a great experience. If we were to start the whole process of expanding/remodeling our home again, we would hire them again. No questions asked. They took time to understand what it was that we wanted, and they were respectful of the fact that we wanted things right for us, not just done.

We truly enjoyed our experience with Bartelt. From their ideas for our home to the quality, professional individuals that work for the company, Bartelt captured our vision and helped us maximize our space. Bartelt’s design, workmanship, and customer service were top-notch. We were so happy with our first project, a kitchen remodel, that we did not hesitate selecting Bartelt for our bathroom remodel.

We had a whole house interior remodel. We had a beautiful 1884 house in a great location, but it had been converted to apartments and had a lot of original wiring and plumbing. We wanted to convert it back to a great lake house. Matt helped us design a great new floor plan that maximized the home’s assets and included some unique special features that we wanted. Bartelt reinforced floors, walls, and windows and replaced wiring, plumbing, and woodwork. They essentially built a new interior that was stunning, yet maintained the style of the house. Bartelt also renovated an enclosed porch and an exterior porch that allowed us to make the most of the lake view.

Bartelt started on time and stayed very close to the promised timeline. Weekly construction meetings were very helpful for keeping communication flowing and answering questions. The project manager and office manager were very responsive and helpful. The rough carpenters were fantastic, doing a great job and cleaning up every night.

We had some additional costs because we decided to improve certain items as we uncovered hidden problems. Bartelt always did a good job of explaining our options. Their finish carpenter was a magician with the way that he installed the millwork and customized so many areas. The designer helped with suggestions for finishing touches that met our style preferences, but also worked well with the style of the house. The overall experience was so much less stressful than we expected and actually very enjoyable. The entire staff was very professional and fun to work with. Would definitely use them again and recommend them to friends.

Just a note to express our thanks and appreciation for the great job in finishing our kitchen remodel.  We are very pleased with our “new” kitchen.  Thank you for coming to our rescue and doing a great job.  Your professionalism and friendliness are a great combination.
